Erkegali Rakhmadiev is a composer, people’s artist of USSR, prize winner of the National prize of KazSSR, professor. He was born in 1932 in Semipalatinsk oblast. He graduated from Almaty state conservatory named after Kurmangazy, class of composition of professor E.G. Brusilovsky.
