Zhubanova Gaziza (1927-1993) is a composer, people’s artist of Kazakhstan and SSSR, prize winner of the National prize of KazSSR, professor. She is the daughter of A.K. Zhubanov, one of the founders of the Kazakh modern music. She graduated from the Moscow music academy, Moscow state conservatory named after Tchaikovsky, class of composition of professor Yu.A. Shaporin.
