Monday, Dec. 05, 2011On December 6-15 Astana and Almaty host festive Decade of the Kazakhstani films devoted to the 20th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

In Astana the Decade of the Kazakhstani films will be opened in the National Academic library with press-conference for mass media and presentation of released DVDs “Cyclus of documentary films about the first president of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbaev” and “Anthology of the Kazakh cinema”.

In Astana the Kazakhstani films created during the years of independence can be watched at Kinopark 7 (trading center “Keruen”), conference hall of the House of ministries (15 entrance), in Almaty – “Cesar” cinema (hall 2). Entrance is free for all the films.

 

The program of the Decade in Astana provides the following films:

December 6 – “Baiterek”

December 7 – “Rivok” (Jerk)

December 8 – “Unexpected love”

December 9 – “Who are you, Mr. Ka?”

December 10 – “Story of a pink hare”

December 11 – “Liquidator”

December 12 – “Birzhan sal”

December 13 – “Zheruiyk”

December 14 – “Vozvrashenie v A” (Return to A)

December 15 – “Sky of my childhood”, devoted to the life and creative work of the famous culture figures of Kazakhstan.

All the films will be represented by director-producers, and representatives of creative teams.
