“For the realization of the program the republican budget alloted 11 billion 332 million tenge in 2004-2011. During this period 93 objects of culture and history were under restoration, with 73 of them fully restored”, K. Saudabaev said.
He noticed that in terms of the program they hold works on restoring monuments of the Kazakh culture abroad. In particular, that is restoration of sultan Beibars mosque in Cairo, sultan Beibars mausoleum in Damask, and construction of cultural center and Al-Farabi mausoleum in Damask. 37 archeological researches of monuments of culture and history were held, 33 applied researches were elaborated. Scientific and research expeditions in countries near and far abroad were organized. About 5 thousand manuscripts and printed editions on history, ethnography, art of Kazakhstan were discovered and acquired.
“It is very symbolic that on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the Independence we consider the results of realization of “Madeni mura” program initiated by the Head of the state 8 years ago. Despite the global financial crisis and difficult formation of nationhood, the issues of spiritual and moral development and restoration of historical memory of the people have always been and still are in the zone of its intense care and attention”, K. Saudabaev said.
The state secretary emphasized that under the outstanding leadership of the First President N. Nazarbaev and along with the impressive results in social and economical and political development of Kazakhstan, great success was achieved in the cultural construction and spiritual development of the nation.
