Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 K. Saudabaev: along with the impressive results in social and economic and political development of the Independent Kazakhstan achieved under the outstanding leadership of the First President N. Nazarbaev, we have here the successes in cultural construction and spiritual revival of the nation.

 

Today the Palace of peace and reconciliation hosted the extended meeting of the Public council of “Madeni mura” program chaired by the State secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabaev.

The heads of a number of departments and ministries, deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan, central figures of science, culture and art participated in the meeting.

 

– It is very symbolic that on the eve of the 20th anniversary of Independence we are considering the result of realization of “Madeni mura” program initiated by the Head of the state eight years ago. Despite the global financial crisis, difficult years of formation of nationhood, the issues of spiritual and moral development and restoration of historical memory of the people have always been and still are in the zone of its intense care and attention. That is why today long with impressive results in social and economic and political development of Independent Kazakhstan, great success was achieved in the cultural construction and spiritual development of the nation, K. Saudabaev emphasized when opening the meeting.

 

At the meeting they noticed that in 2004-2011 the restoration works covered 93 objects of history and culture, 73 of them were fully restores. During this period dozens of books have been published; they are unique in the content and printing execution. 37 archeological works at the monuments of history and culture were held, 33 applied researches were successfully finished. About 5 thousand manuscripts and printing editions on history, ethnography and art of Kazakhstan unknown before were discovered and acquired in countries near and far abroad.

 

In terms of the agenda of the extended meeting of the Public council one could visit the big exhibition of the archeological discoveries and books with “Madeni mura” logo. “Madeni mura” and “Kazakhstan national e-library” internet portals were presented.
